Intro to Wheel: Mindful Clay

Cost: $520

Led by artist and mindfulness practitioner Gabriel Parque, MFA, students in our Mindful Clay class will learn the basics of the pottery wheel and how to integrate mindfulness practices into your clay work and daily life! Our eight-week beginner wheel classes feature hands-on professional instruction with weekly lessons covering all of the basics. Students also get unlimited studio access outside of class to practice and make pots! A kiln firing allotment, glazes and one bag of clay are included.

Enjoy a two hour workshop focused on teaching you the basics of throwing on a pottery wheel and introducing you to mindfulness practices. We'll do a throwing demonstration, a brief guided mindfulness practice and then help you make pots on the wheel! We’ll also finish and fire your favorite piece! In studio pick-up and shipping options are available.

Clay Date:
A workshop for two beginners

Enjoy a clay date with your sweetie or your bestie! We'll teach you the basics of wheel throwing and then help you make pots during this two hour workshop. The workshop also includes activities that you can do in and out of the studio to deepen your connection between you and your partner! We’ll also finish and fire each participants favorite piece! In studio pick-up and shipping options are available.
